Placing an Order

Following are some quick and easy steps to place your order.

1. Shopping Cart
  Once you are finished adding items to your cart, review all the items to make sure that you have selected the right size, color, quantity and style. You can access your shopping cart by clicking on the Shopping Cart icon at the top of every page of the website.
2. Proceed to Checkout
  Once you are ready to place your final order, click on the “Checkout” button located in your shopping cart. You will be taken to the first page of the order form. If you need assistance editing your shopping cart, please view our Adding or Modifying Items in Your Shopping Cart page.
3. Account Login
  After clicking “Checkout” you will be see an account Login page.
Are you an existing customers?: Log into your account using the same email address and password used when the account was created. For password assistance, you may click Forgot your password? link and we will email you a link to reset your password. If the email address used to set up your account is no longer valid, please contact Customer Care to update your account or simply create a new account.
Are you a new customer?: New customers will need to create an account. Create a unique username and password. For your future use, store this information.
4. Enter a Billing Address
  Please enter the full billing address. Your billing address must match the address listed with your credit card company. Be sure to leave the "My shipping address is the same as my billing address" box unchecked if you are entering a different shipping address.
5. Enter a Shipping Address
  Enter your shipping address, if it is different from the billing address provided.
6. Order Review & Shipping Options
  Review your order and change shipping options if necessary.
Expedited Shipping:
Some items may be eligible for 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day shipping. A shipping method drop down will appear if expedited shipping is available. For more information on expedited shipping, please click here.
7. Billing Information
  Select your method of payment. For a list of acceptable payment methods, please click here.
Gift Card or Promotional Code Help:
If you have a Promotion code or Gift Card, make sure to check the appropriate box and enter the Promotion code or Gift card number. If your gift card or promotional code is not being recognized, please view our Coupon and Promotional Code Help page.
8. Submit Order
  Review all the information you have entered. If everything is correct, click “Confirm” to complete the placement of your order. DO NOT DOUBLE-CLICK OR THE SYSTEM WILL DUPLICATE YOUR ORDER. An order confirmation will appear on your screen that shows your invoice and gives you your invoice number.

We recommend printing out a copy of your order confirmation page for your records. A copy of your order will be emailed to you immediately after submitting your order.

Please Note: Your credit card will be charged immediately upon order submission. We do not accept Credit Cards that are issued by a foreign bank or with a foreign billing address.
9. Check Your Order Status
  If you would like to review an order that you've submitted, click the My Account link in the top right corner of our site.

How do I use my shopping cart?
Are you ready to start shopping? Well, it is very easy to use your online shopping cart! Your one cart will enable you to add multiple items. When you see something you like, simply add that item to your Shopping Cart. Then, you can keep shopping and keep adding more items to the same Shopping Cart.

Note: Each subsequent item is added to the bottom of the Shopping Cart list. If your Shopping Cart remains idle for the next 60 minutes, the items in the Shopping Cart will be cleared and you will have to start over again.

On the Checkout page you will see all the items you have added to your shopping cart, along with their individual prices. When you click on “Confirm”, you will have ordered all the items in the Shopping Cart with just one easy click.

Note: During the Check-Out process, you may revise or cancel your order. No order will be placed until you click the "Confirm" button.

Can I cancel My Order?
We know how important it is to get the merchandise on time! Therefore, we do everything we can to ensure that your order ships as soon as possible. It is for this reason, that we CANNOT make changes to or cancel your order after you have submitted it on our website. We ask all customers, to please verify all information provided to us like shipping address, merchandise ordered, and the shipping method chosen before you click on the “Confirm” button. If you notice an error, you will have to wait to receive your merchandise and then return it if the return policy allows for a refund. We are unable to refund your cost of shipping and handling if you decide that you do not want an order after it has been sent to the warehouse for processing. Note: WE CANNOT CHANGE ANYTHING ON YOUR ORDER AFTER YOU CLICK ON THE “CONFIRM” BUTTON. PLEASE VERIFY ALL INFORMATION BEFORE CONFIRMING.

What is a coupon or promotional code?
A coupon or promotional code provides a discount on the price on either a single item or an entire purchase. The discount may be offered as a percentage or dollar amount.
How do I get my promotional code?
Coupons and promotional codes are available through the OnlineHalloweenStore.com newsletter and other promotional offers.
How do I use a promotional code?
To enter your promotional code, add your item(s) to the cart and click the “Checkout” button. In the Billing Information section enter the Promotion code in the Discount coupons/Giftcards box and then click “Apply
If the promotion code is valid, your order will show the discount. If the code is invalid, an error message will display in red.
Why isn't my coupon working?
Your coupon may have expired.
Only one discount code can be applied to each order.
Only one coupon may be used per household.
Coupons can be tied to a specific product or exclude specific products.
Coupons may require a minimum purchase or impose a maximum savings.
Coupons do not apply toward purchases for Gift Cards.
There may be other exceptions mentioned in the coupon.
*Coupons are for use only on the current order. Once an order has been submitted, a coupon can no longer be applied to that order. Pricing, specifications, availability and terms of offers may change without notice. Qualifying totals and maximum savings are calculated before taxes, fees, shipping and handling. Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart
To purchase items, add them to your shopping cart. Follow the easy 4 steps below to add items to your shopping cart.

1. Once you are ready to purchase an item, click on the item and enter the quantity desired. Then click the “Add to Cart” button on the item’s product detail page.
2. To continue shopping, click the “Continue Shopping” button located in your shopping cart.
3. You may view the items in your shopping cart at any time by clicking the “My Cart” icon located in the top right corner of any page.
4. When you are finished shopping, click the “Checkout” button located in your shopping cart. Is the Shopping Cart Not Saving Your Items? If you are having difficulty adding items to your cart, or your cart appears empty after you have added items to it, please make sure you have cookies enabled on your browser. Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart
Go to the Shopping Cart page. To quickly access your shopping cart, click on the icon “Shopping Cart” located in the top right corner of any page.
1. If you need to change the quantity of the item added to the cart, enter the new quantity in the “quantity” box and then click “Update Cart”.
2. If you need to delete an item from the shopping cart, then click on the “Remove” icon next to the individual items.

Special Shipping Offers & Promotions
Orders of $60 or more qualify for FREE Economy Shipping to most addresses within the continental US. If your merchandise total is $60 or more and your "ship to" address qualifies, you'll see the FREE economy shipping option offered on the page where you make your shipping method selection. Orders shipped to a PO Box, Hawaii, Alaska or US Territories do not qualify for this free shipping offer. Items that weigh more than 49 lbs and orders for large props do not qualify for this free shipping option (nor can these items be used in the calculation of the total purchase price to qualify other items for this offer.) NOTE that we do not ship to PO Box addresses, APO/FPO addresses or international addresses.
 
Why didn’t the special offer apply to my order?
Your order may not meet the criteria necessary for the special promotion as stated above. Please review your order to ensure your order qualifies for the special promotion. Do You Charge Sales Tax?
Sales tax will be charged to all orders that are processed with a Pennsylvania shipping address, regardless of the location the product ships from.

Missing Parts
We strive to ensure that your order is sent with all the pieces and is not damaged. If you should discover that an item has a piece missing or your item is damaged, please follow the steps below:
1. Notify us in writing about the concern (missing piece, damages etc). In order to do this, go to the “Contact US” page and select “Email”. Select the appropriate reason for the topic. It is very important to select the proper reason code as we place a priority on responding to these communication types. When responding, be sure to include your order number, your name and the specifics of what exactly is wrong with the order. The more detailed, the better.
2. After we receive your communication, we will evaluate the concern and see how we may be able to fix it. The customer service representative responding to your communication will let you know what we can do and the time frame in which we can do it.

Please Note: Claims for damaged orders, wrong items received or missing items must be made in writing within ten (14) days of receipt of your order. If you allow more than 14 days to go by after receiving your order before inspecting it and notifying us, we're unable to assist.

Are all items purchased returnable?
All items are not returnable. We do not give refunds for the following products:
» Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, and cassette tape that has been opened/taken out of its plastic wrap
» Special order items.
» Close out or clearance items
» Case Packs/Bulk Items: No partial case pack returns will be accepted. Product must be returned in the original shipping pack with all individual items unopened.
» Other select items, as noted on the product description page

When Will My Credit Card be Credited?
Majority of times you can expect to receive your refund within four weeks of shipping your package back to us*. In many cases you will receive a refund sooner, but we estimate four weeks because of the time required for return shipping (up to 14 days), product inspection at our returns facility (up to 5 business days), and processing from your bank or credit card company (up to 5 business days). We will notify you via email with the details of your refund, and issue your refund in the form of payment used to make your purchase.

* During the Busy Halloween and Christmas season credits can take up to 6 weeks. We will do our best to process your returns as

Will I Be Charged for Return Shipping?
Return shipping is at your expense, using the carrier of your choice. We highly recommend you ship the merchandise back to our Distribution Center in Charlotte, NC via a t shipper (UPS, FedEx or USPS with delivery confirmation). Shipment sent to the Distribution Center that are not pre-paid will be refused.
